Audi has launched its all A8 L executive luxury class model in India starting with a price range of Rs 87.32lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Audi A8 will be giving a tough competition to German auto maker BMW 7 series and Mercedes S class. Audi A8 was designed and released in 1994 for international market but the company then launches it in 2011 in India. Audi A8 belongs to D+ segment which bigger than its ancestor and also its weight has been reduced significantly. The super luxury sedan A8 is designed incredibly to attract the present India market which requires luxury and performance.

The exterior of Audi A8 is extraordinarily designed, to attract anyone at the very first sight. The upper and lower part of the radiator grille is combined with muscular trapezoidal portion which looks awesome. The day time running LED, xenon headlamps, side indicators and the dazzling LED tail lamps which makes it make more stunning. The interior is very spacious, as the seats are enclosed with natural volcano leather upholstery which makes you feel comfortable. Audi A8 is equipped with multifunctional equipments like Multi Media Information with touch pad system, route guide, Bose sound system, and button controlled airflow and many other features. Audi A8 has 3 different variants Quattro TDI L3.0 diesel engine is powered by 2967 cc delivering a maximum capacity of 247 bhp with 350 Nm of peak torque. It reaches 0-60 mph in just 6.1 seconds. The sporty Quattro L4.2 FSI a massive 4163cc V8 petrol engine, is capable of outreaching a maximum peak of 372 bhp with a powerful torque of 445Nm @3,500 rpm. The exclusive Quattro L6.0 W12 is powered by 5998 cc W12 spark-ignition engine, DOHC is tuned to churn output at a peak of 450bhp with a torque of 580Nm @6200rpm. All the three variants have turbocharged direct fuel injection system, electronic controlled 8-speed trip tronic system and quattro permanent all wheel drive technology for outstanding performance with reduced fuel consumption.
